The Geelong Cost of LIving Report

The Geelong Cost of Living Report, launched in October 2024, highlights the growing financial challenges the Geelong community faces, based on a survey of 61 residents. With over 88% of respondents experiencing financial stress, the report sheds light on critical issues such as rising housing costs, food insecurity, and healthcare barriers.

This report provides essential insights to inform decision-makers and inspire action toward meaningful change. We aim to create a more resilient and equitable future for Geelong by amplifying the voices of those most affected. This report was conducted pro bono to make a positive impact in the Geelong community.

Our team is based on the sovereign lands of the Wurundjeri and Boon Wurrung people of the Kulin Nation. We respect them as the traditional custodians honor these land areas, and honour their continued connection and contribution to land, water, community, and social justice.

Always was, always will be, Aboriginal land.
